The Snap Elect was a British pop rock and psychedelic rock ensemble formed in 2009 in London. The group consisted of Paul Milne, Barry Allan, Tom Duffin, and Nic Denholm. The members previously performed in the Glasgow bands Uncle John & Whitelock and The Needles. The ensemble released the studio album Mangled Angle Land on November 1, 2010, which was recorded on reel-to-reel tape. The recording received radio play on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6Music. The band was included in the list of 50 Scottish artists to watch in 2011. The group performed a final United Kingdom concert at The George Tavern in November 2010 before a reunion in California in May 2011. The ensemble also released the recordings âMagnafoxâ (2010) and âGood in the Middleâ (2011).
