Biography

Jim Jiminee was a British indie pop group formed in September 1986. Their first breakthrough came with the single "Do It On Thursday" released in 1987 on Cat & Mouse Records, followed by the EP I Wanna Work! in 1988. The bandâs debut LP, Welcome To Hawaii, arrived in 1988 and was reissued by Vinyl Japan in 1999, while the EP Town & Country Blues was reissued in 2000. In the same year, the group issued The EP, and in 2000 the retrospective LP The Thatcher Years was issued by Vinyl Japan. Jim Jiminee disbanded in 1989, after which members continued with various collaborations and solo endeavors.
