Biography

The Shore, an American psychedelic rock group, was formed in 2002 in Los Angeles, California. The band consisted of Ben Ashley on lead vocals and lead guitar, John Wilmer on drums, Kyle Mullarky on guitar and bass, Cliff Magreta on bass, and Wayne Faler on guitar and background vocals. In 2003, they released their first EP, The Shore EP, followed by the single "Hard Road" in 2004. The group signed with Maverick Records and released their self-titled debut album, The Shore, in July 2004. After touring extensively in support of the album, including shows in the United Kingdom and the United States, they began work on their next project. In 2005, Wayne Faler joined as a permanent member. Following Maverick's shutdown, The Shore independently released Light Years in September 2008 and Second Sight in November 2014.
