The Sea Haggs were an Australian indie rock band from Melbourne, formed in 1991. The group featured Perth expatriates Laura MacFarlane, Iain McIntyre, and Cameron Potts, with a lineup that later included Yvette Pusser, Nicole, and Ben Butler. The band released their debut studio album, Beastie, in 1993 and also recorded material under the moniker Keckle. In 1995, they released the compilation Jelly through McIntyreâs Woozy imprint, which featured recordings from both projects alongside MacFarlaneâs solo work. The Sea Haggs became inactive in 1995 when MacFarlane moved to Seattle to join the band Sleater-Kinney. Following the group's conclusion, MacFarlane, McIntyre, and Potts formed the band ninetynine.
