Biography

The Roxx, a heavy metal band from Munich, Germany, was founded in 1984 by singer and songwriter Bill Itch. Their debut album, Sugar and Spice, released in 1986, featured no guitar solos and was packaged in bubble wrap. The songs "Boy Bitch" and "On the Roxx" gained local recognition through DJ samplers like Munich City Nights. In 1988, they released their second album, ...Watch Us Cum. Tragedy struck with the death of guitarist Hermann Janowitz during the recording of Chills Down Your Spine, which remained unreleased. The band continued with No Sole Messjah! in 1992, featuring a collaboration with the Munich Dixieland band Hot Dogs on "The Way to Babylon". They disbanded in 1995 but reunited in 2006, releasing several albums including Unleash Your Demon (2007), Ironic Truth (2009), and To Heaven With Hell (2013).
