The Prisoners, a British garage rock music band from England, formed in 1980. Their debut album, A Taste of Pink, was released in 1982. Following this debut, they released several albums, including Thewisermiserdemelza (1983), The Last Fourfathers (1985), and In from the Cold (1986). These releases showcased their unique sound within the rock genre. The band's discography highlights their consistent output over a decade. After failing to achieve commercial success, the band split later in 1986. The group has reunited for live performances on several occasions and released a final one-off single in 1997.
