Biography

The Phantom Surfers is an American surf rock band formed in 1988. Their early releases included the EPs Orbitron and Besame Mucho. The band's debut album, 18 Deadly Ones!!! was released in 1991, followed by a series of notable albums including Play the Music From the Big-Screen Spectaculars! (1992) and The Exciting Sounds Of Model Road Racing (1994). Throughout their career, The Phantom Surfers collaborated with various artists, notably Dick Dale on an eponymous album in 1996. Their discography spans multiple labels, including Norton Records and Lookout! Records, and includes notable tracks such as "Istanbul" (1996).
