Biography
The Original Sins were an American punk and garage rock ensemble from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, formed in 1986. The group was established by John Terlesky, Ken Bussiere, Dan McKinney, and Dave Ferrara. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Big Soul (1987) through the label Bar/None Records. Their discography includes the studio recordings The Hardest Way (1989), Self Destruct (1990), and Move (1992), the latter of which featured a contribution from Peter Buck. Following the departure of Ferrara in 1992, Seth Baer joined the ensemble on drums for the studio recordings Out There (1992), Acidbubblepunk (1994), and Turn You On (1995). Ferrara returned for the recording of Suburban Primitive (1997). Their discography includes the studio recording Bethlehem (1996), which featured a shift toward a pop music style. The ensemble became inactive in 1998 after Bussiere relocated to Florida.
