Biography
The Neutral formed in 1998 by Shigeru as a fourâmember rock band. After bassist Home Run Shiroya joined in 2000, they signed with Dreamusic and released their major debut single "Pan To Pistol" in Mayâ¯2003; its Bâside "Nichiyoubi No Taiyou" served the opening theme for Narutaru. The band issued albums-Chance is Here!! (2003), Kimi ni Todo (2004), FreakâFreakâFre (2005), and Early Times (2008)-and The Neutral Best in 2013, featuring the hit "Kazoku No Jikan" that peaked in the top ten of the æç·CAN rankings. In 2015, tracks "Tatakai No Uta" and "Al Tarf" appeared in the pachinko game CR Aura Battler Dunbine. After drummer Beat Daisuke departed in 2016, Tatsuo Kamata joined in 2018, and the group continued touring until 2025, when they released Heroes Song for e Aura Battler Dunbine ZEROSONIC. Their album, Blue Spring Time, was issued in Juneâ¯2024.
