Biography

The Midnight Beast is a British comedy band formed in London in 2009, made up of Stefan Abingdon, Ashley Horne, and Dru Wakely. Known for their wacky musical parodies and humorous YouTube clips, the group first came to prominence with their parody of Kesha's " TiK ToK ", which quickly exploded online and reached #90 in the UK charts and #4 in Australia in 2009. A blend of hip-hop, pop and electro, with an absurd, satirical and sometimes trashy sense of humor, The Midnight Beast's style has also found expression on TV, with their own series The Midnight Beast, mixing fiction and musical performance. In addition to the hit "The Dance Routine " (No. 140 in 2011), the trio has recorded the EPs Booty Call (No. 64 in 2010) and Love Bites (2013), as well as three albums: The Midnight Beats (No. 24 in 2012), Shtick Heads (No. 74 in 2014) and The Nobody Asked For. (2018). He has also directed a film, All Killer (2016), for which he composed the music.
