Biography

The Megas, a rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2004. The group initially gained traction through online platforms like Newgrounds and MySpace, as well as live performances at events such as MAGfest, Nerdapalooza, and the Video Games Live tour. Their debut album, Get Equipped, was released in January 2008 and featured arrangements of themes from Capcom's Mega Man franchise with added lyrics and original material. The band's unique approach to blending video game music with rock elements garnered them significant attention, leading to collaborations with other artists like Entertainment System and brentalfloss. Notable releases include the Megatainment EP in 2009 and the double album History Repeating, released in two parts: Blue in June 2012 and Red in May 2014. From 2016 onwards, the band also covered tracks from Konami's Castlevania series.
