Biography

The Material, a rock band from San Diego, California, was formed in 2005 by Colleen D'Agostino, Jon Moreaux, and Noah Vowles. Their debut EP Tomorrow was released in September 2007, featuring the track "Moving to Seattle" in the video game Rock Band. The band's first full-length album, What We Are, was released in January 2011 and included the track "What Happens Next", which served as the title song for MTV Australia's reality-drama series Freshwater Blue. Lead singer Colleen D'Agostino collaborated with deadmau5 on the song "Stay" (originally titled "Drop the Poptart"), released in 2015. The Material's discography also includes the EP Gray States and the album Everything I Want To Say.
