Biography

The Lennerockers, a German rock band from Hagen-Hohenlimburg, were formed in February 1984 by Michael "Ele" Koch, Frank Butgereit, Stefan Koch, Dieter Korth, and Michael Schott. Their debut album Keep Cool was released in 1986. The Lennerockers gained recognition for their energetic live performances and extensive touring, playing over 2,250 concerts throughout their career. Notable albums include Wild! Wild! Wild! (1995), Simply Beautiful (2000), and Rustin’ and Rollin’ (2013). The band achieved a unique milestone by performing the highest concert in history at an altitude of 11,948.16 meters during a flight to Mallorca. In February 2016, The Lennerockers announced their disbandment, concluding with a final concert at the end of the year.
