Biography

The Last Town Chorus, an American band from Brooklyn, New York, was formed in 2001 with Megan Hickey as the consistent member. The group initially started as a duo but evolved into a pop, rock, and alternative country ensemble with various backup musicians. Their debut album, The Last Town Chorus, was released in 2003. In 2006, they followed up with Wire Waltz. Notable songs include "Modern Love", a cover of David Bowie's track featured on ABC's Grey's Anatomy and TLC's Diana: Last Day of a Princess, and the single "Loud and Clear" released in 2008. The band has toured extensively, performing in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada, and sharing stages with artists such as Mark Olson of The Jayhawks, Guillemots, The Weakerthans, Camera Obscura, Michael Penn, and Kathleen Edwards.
