Biography

Lullaby for the Working Class was an American indie folk rock band from Lincoln, Nebraska. The group formed in 1994 and featured Ted Stevens on vocals and guitars, Mike Mogis on multiple instruments, A.J. Mogis on bass, and Shane Aspegren on drums. Their debut EP, Consolation, was released in 1996. The band's first full-length album, Blanket Warm, followed that same year under Bar/None Records. In 1997, they released the EP Hypnotist and the album I Never Even Asked for Light. Their final studio album, Song, was released in 1999. Notable singles include "The Ebb & Flow", "The Come & Go", and "The To & Fro" from their last album. The band disbanded shortly after the release of Song.
