Jazzateers was a Scottish underground pop/post-punk group active for the first half of the 1980s. Formed by Ian Burgoyne and Keith Band, they recorded for Postcard Records and Rough Trade Records. Their first single, "Show Me The Door", was released in 1983 under Rough Trade, followed by their debut album Jazzateers the same year, which received positive reviews. Throughout their career, Jazzateers underwent several lineup changes, including the addition of Paul Quinn as lead vocalist. They released notable singles such as "Pressing On" (1986) and had a brief stint under the name Bourgie Bourgie before disbanding. Their album Blood is Sweeter Than Honey was eventually released in 1997 as part of the compilation I Shot the President.
