Biography

The Jaded Hearts Club formed in 2017 when guitarist Jamie Davis wanted a Beatles cover band to perform at his birthday party. Instead of hiring one, he decided to form his own supergroup. He brought together Blur guitarist Graham Coxon, Muse bassist Matt Bellamy, Zutons drummer Sean Payne, Jet singer Net Cester, and The Last Shadow Puppets singer Miles Kane. The group took on a life of its own, performing at various benefits over the next few years, and occasionally performing with other heave-hitters including Paul McCartney. The group discovered a shared love of sixties R&B and soul records, and made those the focus of their first recordings. Early in 2020 they put out Live at the 100 Club, a recording of a gig at a beloved London venue, donating a chunk of the proceeds to charity. Ahead of their studio debut LP, 2020’s You’ve Always Been Here, they released a series of singles including “Nobody But Me” and a version of The Four Tops’ Motown classic “Reach Out I’ll Be There”.
