The Husbands, an all-female American garage punk band, formed in 2002 in San Francisco, California. The group's early lineup included Nikki Sloate, Tina Luchesi, Donny Nuenhausen, John Dwyer, and Matt Hartman. Their debut album, Introducing the Sounds of the Husbands, was produced by John Reis and released in 2003 via Swami Records. The band embarked on international tours across the United States and Montreal, Quebec, Canada, performing with prominent acts like Dead Moon, Demolition Doll Rods, Beehive, The Baracudas, The Sultans, Hot Snakes, and The Black Lips. Their second album, Thereâs Nothing Iâd Like More Than to See You Dead, was released in 2006, also under Swami Records and produced by Phil Manley. In 2007, the band's lineup included Sarah Reed, Sadie Shaw, and Casey Ward.
