Biography

The House Jacks, a professional a cappella quintet from San Francisco, was founded in 1991 by Deke Sharon. The group released their debut album Naked Noise in 1994 and were signed to Tommy Boy Records from 1994-1997 and Artilier Records from 2000-2005. Known for their original material and vocal percussion, they performed on stages ranging from Carnegie Hall to the Gewandhaus. Notable achievements include performing at the 53rd Monterey Jazz Festival in 2010 and creating comedic bits and jingles for radio personalities Mancow Muller and Rick Dees. The House Jacks have garnered numerous awards, including Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs) for Best Pop/Rock Album in 2004, 2011, and 2015. Their work has been featured on NBC's The Sing-Off and in the film Pitch Perfect.
