Biography

The Holydrug Couple is a psychedelic rock duo from Santiago, Chile, formed by Ives SepÃºlveda and Manuel Parra. The pair began their musical journey after reuniting years later when Parra acquired a drum kit, leading to their first jam session and eventual band formation. Their debut album Awe was released in 2011 via BYM Records, followed by the EP Ancient Land. Shortly after, they signed with Sacred Bones Records and released their major label debut, Noctuary, in 2013. The duo's third full-length album, Moonlust, was released in 2015 and received mixed reviews but later ranked 17th on Happy Mag's list of "The Twenty Five best psychedelic rock albums of the 2010s." In 2016, they released Soundtrack for Pantanal and continued with subsequent albums including Hyper Super Mega in 2018.
