Biography
The Ade is a South Korean indie duo formed in Seoul by guitarist Kim Gyuâyeon and vocalist An Daâeun. After leaving their former agency in late 2016, they debuted on 2016â10â11 with the EP Reborn and released their first single, "The Light", in December. Subsequent singles-including "If I've Known" (2016), "Resemble" (2017), and "Winter Rain" (2018)-solidified their indie reputation. They issued the EP 0.5 in 2018 and fullâlength albums Imagine and Love Theory in 2019, followed by For you in 2025. The duo contributed to several television soundtracks such as âSweet Stranger and Meâ (2016) and âQueen of Mysteryâ (2017), while they were active on the Korean club circuit. They released the single "ì¤ë ë³" in May 2023. Their single "Aching Memory" was released in April 2026 and entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 36 the same week.
