Biography

A parodic rock band like few others, The Frogs' career has been fraught with controversy due to their satirical songs about sex, religion and racism. Formed by brothers Jimmy and Dennis Flemion, originally from Wisconsin (USA), the band released a controversial second album in 1989, It's Only Right And Natural, on the theme of homosexuality. Endorsed by Kurt Cobain and Billy Corgan, who produced Starjob (1997), and cited as an influence by several artists (Beck, Pearl Jam), The Frogs escaped public opprobrium. Unreleased for several years due to its sulphurous songs, the scandalous Racially Yours was finally released in 2000. The death of Dennis Flemion, fished out of Wind Lake on July 10, 2012, calls into question the future of the band.
