Biography

The Ejected, an English punk rock/Oi! band from Dagenham, London, was formed in 1981 by Big Jim Brooks, Gary Sandford, and Mick "Sticks" Robinson. Their first release was a contribution to the compilation Carry On Oi! on Riot City Records. In 1982, they released their debut EP Have You Got 10p?, which reached number 8 in the UK Indie Chart. This was followed by the EPs Noise for the Boys! (1983) and Press the Button (1983) during which Sandford temporarily left the band, and Paul Quain took his place for its recording. Their first album, A Touch of Class, was released that same year. Sandford returned for the recording of their second album, The Spirit of Rebellion (1984), which was produced by Nicky Garratt of UK Subs. After a hiatus, The Ejected reformed in 1999 and released The Best of the Ejected (1999). The band reformed again in 2014 and performed at festivals such as Rebellion Punk Festival and TNT.
