The Dwarves, an American hardcore punk band, were formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1983. The core members, singer Blag Dahlia (born Paul Cafaro) and guitarist HeWhoCannotBeNamed (born Peter Konicek), began their musical journey as teenagers in the garage punk outfit Suburban Nightmare. The band gained notoriety for their controversial lyrics and shocking live performances. In 2004, they released The Dwarves Must Die, featuring guest appearances from Dexter Holland of The Offspring and Nick Oliveri of Queens of the Stone Age. Throughout their career, The Dwarves have been known for their eclectic punk rock sound and provocative album covers. Subsequent albums include The Dwarves Are Born Again (2011), Take Back the Night (2018), The Dwarves Concept Album (2023), Keep It Reel (2024), and Jenkem (2026).
