Biography

The Dutchess and the Duke was a folk band formed in Seattle, Washington, by singer-songwriters Jesse Lortz and Kimberly Morrison. The duo began their musical journey together in 2002 and reunited to record "Reservoir Park" as a single for Lortz's label Boom Boom Party Records in 2007. Their debut album, She's The Dutchess, He's The Duke, was released in 2008, featuring "Reservoir Park" which was showcased in HBO’s Entourage. The band followed up with a second album, Sunset/Sunrise, in 2009 and Live At Third Man Records in 2015. The Dutchess and the Duke disbanded in October 2010.
