The Divorce was a rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 2002. The original lineup included Shane Berry on vocals, keyboard, guitar, and tambourine, Jimmy Curran on bass, and Kyle Risan on drums. Their first release was the self-titled The Divorce EP in 2003, followed by their debut full-length album There Will Be Blood Tonight, also released that year on Fugitive Records. Prior to the album's release, Garrett Lunceford joined as lead guitarist. In September 2005, The Divorce released their second album, The Gifted Program, on Made in Mexico Records. Despite recording nine tracks for a planned third album, In Arms, the band became inactive in June 2007 after playing at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle.
