Biography

The City Harmonic was a Canadian Christian rock band formed in 2009 in Hamilton, Ontario. The group consisted of Elias Dummer (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Eric Fusilier (bass), Aaron Powell (guitar), and Josh Vanderlaan (drums). Their debut EP, Introducing the City Harmonic, was released in November 2010, featuring the single “Manifesto,” which remained on Billboard’s Christian charts for 15 weeks. The band’s first full-length album, I Have a Dream (It Feels Like Home), was released on October 18, 2011, and peaked at number  34 on Billboard’s Christian Albums chart. They won three Covenant Awards from GMA Canada in 2011 (including Modern Worship Song and Recorded Song for “Manifesto”) and later earned a Juno Award for Christian/Contemporary Gospel Album in 2013. After disbanding in 2017, they released their final live album, Benediction (Live), on June 23, 2017.
