Biography
The Chinese Stars, an American noise rock band from Providence, Rhode Island, was formed in 2003. The group emerged from the remnants of Six Finger Satellite and Arab on Radar, with Eric Paul on vocals, Craig Kureck on drums, Rick Ivan Pelletier on bass, and Paul Vieira on guitar. Their debut release, Turbo Mattress, an EP, was released in 2003, followed by their first full-length album, A Rare Sensation, in 2004. The band continued to release notable works including "T.V. Grows Arms / The Drowning" (2005), Listen To Your Left Brain (2007), and Heaven On Speed Dial (2009).
