Biography

The Cab is an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, that formed in 2004. The group was founded by Alexander DeLeon and Cash Colligan, who began playing together while attending Liberty High School. They gained national attention after signing with the labels Decaydance Records and Fueled by Ramen in 2007. Their debut studio album, Whisper War, was released in 2008 and featured the single “One of Those Nights” (2008), a collaboration with Brendon Urie and Patrick Stump. The band toured extensively across the United States, supporting acts including Panic! at the Disco, Dashboard Confessional, and We the Kings. They released their second studio album, Symphony Soldier (2011) independently after departing from their label. This recording featured the single “Bad” in 2011, and the gold-certified track “Angel with a Shotgun” (2011). In 2014, they released the EP Lock Me Up (2014) through Republic Records before going on hiatus in 2015. The group returned in 2019 and released the EP Road to Reign: A Prelude (2025). They followed this with their third studio album, Chasing Crowns, (2026), which featured the lead single “Locked and Loaded” (2026).
