Biography

The Breath of Life is a Belgian rock band formed in 1985 in Gembloux. The original lineup consisted of Isabelle Dekeyser, Philippe Mauroy, and BenoÃ®t Sokay, with Giovanni Bortolin joining in 1990. After winning the Verdur Rock contest in 1990, they released the live album Live in Praha '92 (1992) and the studio album Painful Insanity (1992). The album Taste of Sorrow (1994) features the song âNasty Cloudâ (1994). Subsequent albums include Silver Drops (2000), Under the Falling Stars (2017), which reached number 6 on the German alternative charts, and Sparks Around Us (2020).
