Biography

The Bottrops, a German punk band, was formed in Berlin in March 2006 by former members from other bands: Slash Vicious, Johnny Bottrop and Steve Maschine West, along with Bang Bang Benno from Xarecrows. The band underwent several lineup changes, including the departures of Steve Maschine West and Cris Crise, who were replaced by Robo Borowski and later by The Ace. Their initial release, Unterhund-EP, was published as a download in 2006 and in 2007, The Bottrops released their self-titled debut album. Their second album, Entertainment Overkill, was released in 2009, followed by their third album, Hinterhofhits, in 2012. The Bottrops' last performances took place in 2013, with subsequent shows in 2014 being canceled due to Bang Bang Benno's film commitments in the USA.
