Biography

The Blanche Hudson Weekend, a UK-based indie band from Leeds, was formed in 2009 by Darren Lockwood and Caroline McChrystal after their previous band split. Named after Joan Crawford's character in What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, they initially released their debut EP, The Letters to Daddy, on Squirrel Records in November 2009. Their first live performance was in July 2010, followed by two more singles and the compilation CD, Reverence, Severance and Spite. The band's debut album, You Always Loved Violence, came out in October 2011. They released their second album, How Many Times Have You Let Me Die?, on April 8, 2013.
