The Black Ryder, a musical duo consisting of Aimee Nash and Scott Von Ryper, formed in Sydney, Australia in 2007. Their self-produced debut album Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride was released in 2009 through their own label The Anti-Machine Machine / EMI Music Australia and was included in Rolling Stone Australia's Best Albums list of 2010. Their second album, The Door Behind the Door, was released in 2015 to international critical acclaim. They have collaborated with notable artists such as Cat Power, The Church, and Swervedriver.
