Biography

The Bastard Fairies were an American musical duo from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2005 and consisted of singer/lyricist Yellow Thunder Woman and guitarist/songwriter Robin Davey. Their debut album, Memento Mori, was released in 2007 and included the track "The Boy Next Door", which was featured in an episode of The L Word. The band gained significant attention for their promotional video "The Coolest 8 Year Old in the World Talks About O'Reilly", which sparked controversy and media coverage, including a discussion on Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor. Yellow Thunder Woman passed away in August 2021 at the age of 40.
