Biography
The Barrino Brothers, consisting of Nathaniel, Perry, and Julius Barrino along with Robert Roseboro, were an American soul music group from High Point, North Carolina. Formed in 1968, they began their career by releasing "Just A Mistake" in 1969. In 1972, the Barrino Brothers signed a recording contract with Invictus Records, managed by the former Motown team of Holland-Dozier-Holland. Their debut album, Livin' High Off the Goodness of Your Love (1973), was produced during this period but never fully released in the US due to distribution issues. Notable tracks from this album include "I Had It All" and "Try It, You'll Like It". The group's catalog was later sold to Japanese music moguls in the 1970s.
