Innocence is a British R&B band fronted by Gee Morris, formed in 1990. The group's sound, masterminded by the production team of Anna Jolley, Mark Jolley, and Brian Harris, blends elements of downtempo and chill-out music with R&B. Their debut single "Natural Thing" became their biggest UK hit in 1990, peaking at number 16 on the charts. The same year, they released their debut album Belief, which reached the Top 30 in the UK Albums Chart. This album featured three additional singlesâ "Silent Voice", "Let's Push It", and "A Matter of Fact" âwhich charted inside the UK Top 40. In 1992, Innocence released their second and final album Build. The album included two Top 40 hits in the UK: "I'll Be There" (peaking at number 26) and a cover version of Diana Ross's "One Love In My Lifetime" (peaking at number 40), before disbanding.
