The Balconies were a Canadian alternative music trio formed in Ottawa, Ontario, consisting of siblings Jacquie and Stephen Neville, and Liam Jaeger. They released their self-titled debut album The Balconies in 2009. In late 2010, they relocated to Toronto and won Live 88.5's Big Money Shot, receiving a $75,000 development package. This led to the release of their EP Kill Count in 2012. The Balconies performed at numerous festivals including South by Southwest and European events like MIDEM and Liverpool Sound City. Their second album, Fast Motions, was released in 2014 via Coalition Music/Warner Music Canada. Following Stephen Neville's departure in 2016, the band released their third album, Rhonda. The Balconies announced their dissolution in late 2017 and played their final show at The 27 Club in Ottawa on February 3, 2018.
