Biography
Tristan Casara, who goes by the name The Avener, is a French house, electronic and dance DJ and producer who has remixed and sampled works by a wide range of artists including Bob Dylan, John Lee Hooker and Phoebe Killdeer & The Short Straws. The latter, 'Fade Out Lines', reached the top ten on several national singles charts in Europe. His debut album 'The Wanderings of The Avener' in 2013 went to number two in France.
In March 2018, he released a reworking of Bob Dylan's 'Masters of War' and scheduled appearances at venues in Marseilles, Paris, Cannes and Portimao in Portugal. He returned with his second studio album in 2020, 'Heaven'.
