Biography

The Aristocrats, an instrumental power trio formed in 2011, consists of Guthrie Govan on guitar, Bryan Beller on bass, and Marco Minnemann on drums. The trio's debut performance at the Anaheim Bass Bash during the Winter NAMM show in January 2011 led to their formation after an enthusiastic response from the audience. Their eponymous debut album was released later that year, featuring a blend of influences ranging from 70s fusion and progressive rock to instrumental rock and rap metal. Subsequent studio albums include Culture Clash (July 2013), Tres Caballeros (June 2015), and You Know What...? (June 2019). The Aristocrats have also released several live albums, including Secret Show: Live in Osaka (2015) and Freeze! Live in Europe 2020 (2021). Their studio album, Duck, was released in February 2024.
