Biography

The Almighty Trigger Happy, or simply Trigger Happy, a Canadian punk rock band from Toronto, Ontario, was formed in 1991. The group initially released their album Killatron 2000 on the label Raw Energy in 1994. They followed this with I'll Shut Up When You Fuck Off, released in 1996, which was later distributed in Europe by Bad Taste Records. Subsequent releases included a split album with Misconduct titled The Almighty Trigger Happy/Misconduct (1998), and their studio album, I Hate Us (1999). After the band broke up in 1999, the group reunited briefly in 2004 for the re-release of their album, I Hate Us. In 2014, Al Nolan of The Almighty Trigger Happy performed at Riot Fest, but a violent altercation with Dallas Green of City and Colour. The band later apologized.
