Biography

Damion Darrel Warren, known as Teacha Dee, was born on September 21, 1980, in Westmoreland, Jamaica. He is a reggae singer who initially worked as an educator for the Ministry of Education Youth and Culture. In May 2005, Teacha Dee began his professional music career by recording "Life Goes On" for The Mighty Powpow Productions. His breakthrough came with the release of "Smoke and Fly", which became popular in reggae clubs. In August 2010, he embraced the Ras Tafari way of life, leading to a shift in his musical themes. Teacha Dee released his debut album Reggae Souljahs: Beating Babylon With Music in October 2011 and embarked on European tours, performing at notable venues like the Reggaejam Festival in Bersenbrück, Germany. His second album, Rastafari Way, was released in March 2017.
