Tawab Arash, born in 1976 in Herat, Afghanistan, is a singer known for his contributions to Oriental pop and pop music. He is the nephew of acclaimed composer and singer Amir Jan Sabori and the younger brother of Afghan film actor Nemat Arash. In 1999, after moving to Russia, Tawab Arash began singing and learning the keyboard under the guidance of his brothers and an Indian teacher. His professional career started shortly afterward. In 1996, he moved to Sweden, where his first two concerts took place in Stockholm with Mirwais Hamrah. Tawab Arash released several albums, including Roshani (2006), Chai Wa Chilam (2007), and Coming Soon (2010).
