Tacoyaki Rainbow, a Japanese idol group formed on September 17, 2012, under Stardust Promotion, originated from the Kansai region. The group was composed of five members and was part of Section 3B Junior within the agency. Their debut single "Over the Takoyaki Rainbow" was released in September 2013, exclusively available in the Kansai region. In February 2014, they released their second single "Naniwa no Haniwa". The group's third single "ZesshÅ! Nani wa de Umareta ShÅjotachi" marked their first national release and was also their first as a five-member lineup. Their fourth single "Genki Uri no Shoujo ~Naniwa Meika Gojissen~" followed in May 2015, also released nationally. In April 2016, Tacoyaki Rainbow signed with Avex Trax and debuted with the single Nanairo Dance. The group's discography includes several EPs and albums, such as Maido! Åkini! (December 2016), Double Rainbow (February 2018), and Nantai Teki na Voyage (February 2019). Tacoyaki Rainbow also appeared in various media outlets, including the television program Mezase KÅshien! Tsukataco Rainbow Road. The group disbanded in 2022.
