T Kimp Gee, real name Jordan Quimpert, is a rapper and singer from the Grand-Camp district of Abymes, Guadeloupe. He is known for his fusion of trap, cloud rap and Caribbean sounds. He made a name for himself in the 2010s alongside Tchapie and Cosmo, with whom he released a series of freestyles on YouTube addressing the themes of single parenthood, but also the lives of housing estate youth and their daily lives. In 2014, his track"Manman di mwen" made him a household name in France, and in 2017 he released his debut album, Réussir ou mourir, which included collaborations with artists such as Stony, Missié Sadik and Drex. His two biggest hits"Lanmou eternel" from the album 100 ans and"O.V.W.A." were released in 2020, and T Kimp Gee affirmed his musical style, blending slow rhythms and melancholy lyrics in Creole.
