Tim Buckley, known professionally as T. Buckley, is a Canadian singer-songwriter born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He adopted the initial "T." to distinguish himself from American singer-songwriter Tim Buckley. Buckley released his debut album Roll On in 2011, marking the beginning of his country music career. In 2013, he formed the T. Buckley Trio with steel guitarist Tim Leacock and upright bassist Derek Pulliam, releasing two albums: Northern Country Soul and Nowhere Fast. Buckley's fifth album, Miles We Put Behind, was released in 2018. He toured extensively around Alberta in support of this album, often performing with his sister Mariel Buckley. In December 2022, Buckley and his sister released a cover of "Bobcaygeon" by The Tragically Hip as a single.
