Susan McCann is an Irish country and Irish singer. She had a significant hit in 1977 when "Big Tom is Still the King" reached Number 1 on the Irish pop charts. This breakthrough led to numerous album releases, including Down the River (1978), Storybook Country (1980), and Sincerely Yours (1981). Her international popularity grew as she recorded over 650 songs, toured globally, and performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Dollywood. She made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry in 1979 and won the European Star Award in 1980. Her notable albums include My Heroes (2005). She sang for former US Presidents George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush.
