Surfin' Lungs are an English surf music ensemble from Bracknell, Berkshire, formed in 1981. The group was established by Chris Pearce and Geoffo Knipe. Their recording career began with the single "Mickey's Car" (1983). They achieved professional recognition for a musical style blending 1960s surf, pop, and garage music. Their discography includes the debut studio recording Cowabunga (1985) and the extended play Surf-Jet Girl (1986). After Knipe departed in 1987 and was replaced by Clive Gilling, they released the studio recording The Biggest Wave (1987). Their discography includes the studio recordings The Beach Will Never Die (1990), Hang Loose with The Surfin' Lungs (1996), and Goin' to Rockingham (2000). The studio recording Full Petal Jacket (2010) reached Number 1 on the Boss 20 chart. Their recording career includes the studio recordings Surf Factor 8 (2016) and Last Wave to Surfsville (2023).
