Biography

Sunday (1994) is a pop band based in Los Angeles, California. The group was formed by American singer Paige Turner and British guitarist Lee Newell, who met in 2014 and began writing songs together for other artists and advertisements. A drummer named X, later called Puma, completed the trio. Their breakthrough moment came during the COVID-19 pandemic when they started creating music for themselves to release on their social media, gaining a few thousand views instantly. In 2024, Sunday (1994) released their debut self-titled EP Sunday (1994), followed by a deluxe version of the same EP later that year. The band's notable singles include "Tired Boy" and "Stained Glass Window". In February 2025, they released the single "Doomsday", which was followed by their second EP, Devotion, in May 2025. The title track reached number 25 on UK Physical Singles Sales chart.
