Biography

Sun-60 was an American alternative rock band formed in 1987 in the United States. The group initially performed as an acoustic folk duo called Far Cry, consisting of Joan Jones and David Russo. They signed with Epic Records in 1990 and released their debut album, Sun-60 (1991). Their discography includes the album Only (1993), which featured the guitarist Dave Navarro, and the recording Headjoy (1995). The group became inactive in 1996. Jones released the solo album Starlite Criminal (1998) and collaborated on the song “Heartbeat” (2007) for the film P.S. I Love You (2007). Russo performed as a composer for film scores.
