Darrian Jimenez, known professionally as Sugarhill Ddot, was born on March 8, 2008, in Harlem, New York City, and is a rapper. Raised primarily by his paternal grandmother, he began his music career with childhood friends practicing songs and freestyles. In 2021, Ddot released his debut single "Too Tact", featuring fellow New York rappers DD Osama and the late Notti Osama. His breakthrough came in September 2022 with the release of several singles including "Stop Cappin" and "I Wanna Love You". Following this success, he signed a recording contract with Priority Records in 2023. Ddot released his debut mixtape 1st Side of the Story on April 1, 2023, followed by his first studio album 2 Sides of the Story on August 2, 2024. He also notably collaborated with DD Osama for "40s n 9s" and appeared at the festival Rolling Loud California in March 2024.
